Introduction
Specializing in using the highest modulus materials and creative designs, ACCRA has carved a niche in the premium golf shaft market place.ACCRA has been a leader on PGA Tours around the globe, with multiple wins every season since its introduction on PGA, European PGA, Champions, Nationwide, and LPGA. More than 100 tour players used ACCRA in 2008 along with countless top Amateurs around the world.
ACCRA's dedication to Professional Club Fitters is unparalleled. Working exclusively with more than 350 of the world's best club fitters and club builders, ACCRA accesses this unique knowledge base when designing new products.
Innovation
2004 - Introduced first super low torque/responsive tip graphite golf shaft. To date no other company equals ACCRA torque / tip deflection ratios. High launch low spin technology unsurpassed!2006 - Introduced innovative AXIV Technology to a shaft designed for the North American/European markets. ACCRA AXIV offered unsurpassed stability and feel in a shaft designed to perform best with the new high MOI heads.
ACCRA continues to use the highest modulus materials to offer maximum performance and feel. No other graphite shaft manufacture offers a performance" guarantee!
All new products by ACCRA will utilize the most innovative materials and designs available.
ACCRA DyMatch System

The Evolution of Golf shafts!
For 2009 ACCRA will revolutionize "fitting" golf shafts.
Feed back from the PGA Tour Representatives whom "fit" the best players in the world along with suggestions from a wide selection of the world's best club fitters whom fit all levels of golfers on a daily basis, was the inspiration for this new product from ACCRA.
The fact is most golfers are "fit" to a lighter weight driver shaft, a slightly heavier fairway wood shaft, and an even heavier hybrid shaft. Assuming the player uses a similar shaft in each of their clubs the general geometry of shafts is that as a shaft gets heavier its torque gets lower and the tip deflection becomes stiffer.
This becomes clear when analysing Tour player's choice of shafts. Many players choose shafts with very different profiles for their driver, fairway woods, and hybrid. ACCRA is going to change this!
Now consider the Dynamics of the golf swing and the golf club.
Drivers are longer than other woods and hybrids, players develop greater club head speed with drivers.
The CG (center of gravity) of a driver head is farther from the axis point (where the shaft fits into the head), therefore when a ball is struck with a driver lower torque and stable tip section is required to maintain the stability of the head/shaft combination.
Fairway wood heads are smaller and strike the ball at a lower rate of speed. There is a necessity for the geometry of a fairway wood shaft to aid the golfer in getting the ball in the air. As the CG of a fairway wood head is closer to the axis point, a slightly higher torque and tip deflection will maintain stability.
Hybrids follow this same pattern, the trick is to continue a constant flow of consistency from driver shaft to fairway wood shaft to the hybrid, considering that a hybrid shaft is traditionally a .370 tip OD.
So how do engineers at ACCRA develop this program to make it a consistent "Match"? Currently all shafts are measured statically. Specifications are given as the shafts are in "blank" form. The fact is that golfers do not swing a shaft alone and many shafts dynamics change dramatically once they are tipped and butt cut to length and then inserted into a head.
ACCRA has tested this entire line of shafts "dynamically". Using a base (high MOI) driver head and the latest fairway woods and hybrids. We have developed a line of shafts that are perfectly dynamically matched! This means that once assembled into heads, cut to length (tipping is not required, although certified club fitters may adjust based on the head of choice), and gripped, our shafts were designed to Match with respect to torque, tip deflection, EI curve , and flex when measure during a swing.
Using the latest in cannon, robot, and human testing with the most technologically advance launch monitors and high speed cameras, ACCRA has created 3 distinct Series of shafts that identically Match from driver through hybrid, ensuring the golf a perfectly, Dynamically Matched set.
Dynamic measurements are the only specifications that really matter, ensure your club fitter offers Dynamically Matched shafts by ACCRA, DyMatch is designed to ensure all of your woods and irons are perfectly Matched, you deserve a perfect set!
ACCRA AXIV Series Technology
The
next generation of the world's most technologically advanced shaft is
here.AXIV Tetra-Axial (4 axis) weave is the most exotic material used in the production of golf shafts today. This material enables our engineers to weave 4 different modulus carbon fibers in 4 different directions all in one ply of material. Thinner yet stronger walls create stability and feel not found in any other graphite golf shaft.
AXIV material creates our "Rapid Recovery System" which resists deformation and recovers to round faster than any other graphite golf shaft. A Certified ACCRA Fitter will ensure that the perfect ACCRA AXIV shaft is matched to your swing for maximum results.
When fitted by a certified ACCRA Fitter the new ACCRA AXIV shaft promises to provide optimal launch trajectory, controlled spin rates, penetrating ball flight for maximum carry, shallower angle of decent for extreme roll out, and the smooth ACCRA feel.

AXIV Design Technology
1 Axis vs 2 Axis vs 4 Axis Materials1 Axis - Conventional shafts have used materials wrapped with only unidirectional plies. To affect hoop more plies, stiffer material or a larger butt diameter has to be used! The result is a counter balanced design, stiffer shaft flex or too large of a butt diameter.
2 Axis - Graphite manufacturers have used bidirectional material in a single ply to work on hoop stability! Material could run 0 - 90 direction or 45 - 45 direction.
4 Axis - AXIV Technology (4 Axis material), engineered with only one ply of material, provides the most efficient design in terms of shaft stability.

ACCRA Classic Series Technology
ACCRA
SE and SC series golf shafts revolutionized the world of stability and
feel in a graphite golf shaft. "ACCRA Tolerance Technology" means
unparalleled consistency combined with a unique combination of extremely
low torque (stability), unequaled "hoop strength" (consistency), and an
incredibly responsive tip section. Before Accra this combination just
didn't exist! Tremendous response on Professional Tours worldwide
revealed the benefits of high launchand low spin. Now this technology is available to all golfers. Our engineers were challenged to create "the best" regardless of material costs, production costs or R & D expenses... the result was the ACCRA SE and SC series golf shafts. The SE* series offers an even more responsive tip section that enhances the feel for those using bore through heads or seeking an even higher initial ball trajectory without sacrificing control over spin rates. ACCRA SE and SC series shafts are now available in weights from 55 grams through 95 grams, enabling all levels of serious golfers to experience the ultimate in power, feel, and control.
